The Final Whistle

It was the first game of the pre-season, and my beloved team faced my hometown...I guess it's needless to mention the difference in quality between these two teams...

It was good to see the team back in action after so many weekends without a game to watch, although we were missing a couple of my favourite wingers. With that aside, however, the youth players were looking sharp, and the experienced few showed their class. We won 3-1, and certainly outsung the home crowd.

Looking forward to August.
