Yes, it's real

If this doesn't look like a plastic bug on a plastic flower, then something must be wrong with my eyes. It is a very small Hover fly. I honestly didn't realize there were so many of these critters around. Anyway, he was on the onion that is flowering, so I picked him to be the blip. After a cloudy start to the day, with occasional sprinkles of rain, the sun popped out for a bit, which is when I went outside and found him.

I also have a lovely golden yellow rose that almost made the blip. This was in a yard near me. This rose is perfect! Beautiful color that photographs well, perfect shape, no uglies on it...just beautiful. It's right here.
