Evening Glow

Driving back from Wanaka this afternoon the light was so golden on the browntop grasses by lake Aviemore a complete contrast to yesterday's colours.
I would of, should of!! stopped earlier to get the reflections in the lake but you know how it is! anyhow we did stop and I took this one I loved the contrast of the grass and the lake.

We had an eventful time further down the track, between the two Kurow bridges we stopped to let the dogs have a run, then the key would not work in the ignition! we were in trouble! it was getting dark and very cold.
We got hold of the AA ( someone in Auckland, different Island!) they said someone would be there in an hour!, just at that point a local young guy came along with a truckful of dogs, he said he knew the garage owner so went off to find him and sure enough he turned up.
Story was they could not mend it but took everything apart started it with a screw driver and luckily we got home! now have to get it fixed.
