Made it to Virginia late last night. Spent the day with my 6 year old nephew, Rylan, and my sister-in-law at the Appomattox Court House where the Civil War ended and General Lee surrendered to General Grant. Interesting piece of American history and a pretty cool place to visit. It has been fun spending time with Rylan although he just loves to beat me up in various ways...like butting me with his head and messing up my hair lol. I suppose this is just his way of being playful. I never had any younger siblings though, so it's an experience :p Try to enjoy it while I can seeing as I rarely get to visit. And what a smile...he lost his first tooth last week and was sure to point it out the moment we arrived :)
