Married...With Children.

When I was a kid, my dad would often come home from a long day at work, stretch out on the couch in the basement, switch on the T.V., and laugh, laugh, and laugh at Al Bundy's jokes.

One night, while I was watching the show with him, the title came onto the screen (with green slime and all). A thought came into my little six-year-old head and I wondered out loud, "Married with children... You can't be married with children! That's not right!"

It wasn't until many years later that I realized that being married with children meant being married and having children, rather than being married to children.
