Inchworm

I was checking out my poppy plant and went to brush away a bit of debris, except it turned out to be a caterpillar, an inchworm, which will become a geometer moth. It was pretty cool. When I saw it, it was all bunched up (locomoting), as soon as it "noticed" me, it went into twig mode. I attempted to brush it to get it to move again. It stayed steady with it's "There's nothing to see here, just a twig" act. It wasn't terribly convincing since it was on the rounded edge of a green poppy leaf, a very incongruous place for a twig.
