Large Red-tailed Bumble Bee

This large Red-tailed Bumble Bee (Bombus lapidarius) was seen in my garden feeding on some clover.

My grandchildren finished school at lunch time today until September. As their Mum now works full-time I will be looking after them except for the two weeks when they go away on a family holiday. I am very much looking forward to doing things with them, from baking to visiting museums and the seaside.
