12:36 to Queen Street

It's a bit of a come-down from the thrill rides of the mega theme parks but you have to take your adrenaline rush where you can over here in the Wee County. Sitting under a rickety bridge as the Glasgow bound train rattles overhead seems to provide a bit of a buzz anyhow.

We dropped Euan's big sister off for her first shift back at work after her holiday - she was so looking forward to that - then we headed off to explore further the newly opened cycle track I shot yesterday. Decided we're definitely getting back on the bikes and using this (if only to put off the lazy dog walkers that seem to be in the majority just now who can't be arsed clearing up after their dog's have deposited their steaming piles in the middle of the newly laid tarmac) and, at the suggestion of a fellow blipper (cheers Andy), will be pooping popping along to the local Recyke-A-Bike to see what they have to get me back in the saddle. Already planned out some routes using this path and others around and about here.

Euan already has a bike, in pristine condition, stored away in a shed and hardly ridden in the past 18 months. Time to change that. When I was his age my backside was an inverted saddle shape as there would rarely be a day I wasn't on two wheels, especially over the summer months. At the moment his is inverted gaming chair shaped.

About the photo:

A happy accident when I selected the wrong shot in a bracketed set of photos for an HDR image. Quite liked the way it was going so played around with it a bit more to recreate the multiple exposure look seen in this. Best BIG.
