Today's lesson for blippers

Look Up.
There are often things to see above eye level, like this carved figure at the west door of St Mary's Cathedral in the West End of Edinburgh. There are three figures up there, above the three arched doorways. I love the way that while the stone workshop at St Mary's maintains the centuries-old skills of stone masonry, it also introduces a contemporary twist, reflected in the more angular features of the carved figures.
