There is some sort of heat index situation going on today...which to me = to dang hot to be anywhere the air conditioning is NOT keeping the room like an icebox.
That being said, I decided since I had been sweating at the bagel shop for a few hours anyway, to stop at the battlefield for some quick photos on my way back to the complex.
When I say "stop at the battlefield for some quick photos" what I mean is, park the air conditioned car, step outside of it, take a picture, and get back in...so that is more or less what I did.

However, there was a guy finishing up a bike ride about this time. Toweling off, putting the bike on the car, etc. Who rides a bike in the middle of the afternoon in 95+ degrees with a heat index of 104 or something ridiculous like that?!

I am in awe.
