Tribute to the Space Shuttle and her Amazing Crews

I was pretty sad yesterday to see the end of the Space Shuttle.

This is a statue of William C McCool. He was the pilot of Columbia which broke up over Texas on February the 1st 2003. He was a student at Coranado High School Lubbock and the statue is of him as a boy with dreams and as a man pointing towards space where he was destined to go.

And I doubt there's a better name for an Space Ship Pilot, that Wm C McCool.

May he and the other brave astronauts and cosmonauts who have died going boldly where no one has gone before rest in peace.
