Family..
I found this old picture and snapped a quick puc to post. This is my grandfather and my favorite Uncle. Gramps was a great man who loved his family and stood for what he believed in. He served his country with pride, not meeting his daughter (my mother) until she was almost two years old. Apparently, grams was already pregnant when he went to war. He worked in the steel mills of NY helping build the World Trade Centers. I have a picture he took of the skyline before they were finished and right after. I cherish those pictures and know he would have been heart broken if he was alive on 9/11. He's been gone now for probably close to 20 years. We all miss him dearly. I'd give anything to sit with him again and listen to his stories of war and life.
My Uncle remains my grandmothers keeper and does it with the same conviction and pride my gramps had. I see gramps more and more in my uncle and it makes me smile. He deals with a lot and I've never once heard one complaint. He loves his mother like any son should and then some. Her health is so-so but her whit never dies. Love her to pieces!
