First Snow

Came home from the coast a day early after a great week with good weather and no rain. Its meant to snow down to sea level tonight and we didn't want to get stuck on the other side.....(it would be terrible if we couldn't get to work...not)

When we got to Arthurs Pass we stopped to let Kea out to play in the snow. she has never seen the snow before and was highly amused by it all.

This shot is of her trying to catch a snowball, don't let the big fangs fool you she is a big softie really.
