Something Different

I've surprised myself in some ways to have made it to 100 at last - a year after I began my journal. I've done 2months continuously though since the end of May. I've enjoyed the nudge to make myself think beyond photos of my little one.

Back when I began, I said I wanted this journal to help me remember there's more to me than being Mummy. So it felt appropriate that for my 100th I really push myself out of my comfort zone and blip a self portrait. I'll even attempt to convince myself to leave it there and not swap it for the rather rubbish "100" written in the shower steam this morning.

Thankyou to Joe and all at blipcentral, it means a lot to have this. Thankyou to those of you who stop by. That also means a lot. I'm learning a lot from the people here, some really incredible photographers teach me every time they post a photograph, so thankyou to you too.
