Flight

This must be the earliest I've ever posted a blip. We took Wifie to the emergency dental unit at the Westmorland General this morning to have her tooth sorted. The toothache has been subdued, so we can now head off to Yorkshire for the birthday bash.

There was just time to take a few photos of the hoverflies on the ox-eye daisies. It's more difficult than it looks to catch a hoverfly in mid-hover, focussing quickly enough is a bit of a challenge. Anyway, this one came out fairly sharp. I like the way the legs are tucked away for streamlined flight.
