Preparation completed

We spent 6hrs yesterday and 3 hrs this morning clearing all the weeds and plants from the garden. We have retrieved and potted up the plants that we hope to keep. Membrane is down and anchored by the stones to stop it ending up in the Trent!!
Next stage will be in September, when we relay the wobbly stones and see what has grown under the membrane which needs to be removed. If the plants in pots have survived the summer they can be replanted.
We both have a quiet sense of satisfaction at progress so far. Now off to get scrubbed up and changed for the party this afternoon!!
