Being thankful

My team an I went to a huge celebration of NHS talent last night and it was a brilliant way to day thank you to everyone for all their hard work.
We did not spend any public money on the booze, the directors pit their hands on their pockets for that.
So we didn't bring home a trophy BUT we did get nominated by a very grateful member of the public which was touching and rewarding in itself.
Our chief exec was nearly crying she was so proud!
The chlamydia screening team had "sex is on fire" as their award winning music. Hilarious.

But now today we are just thankful to be alive.
A tragedy shooting in Norway and the very young and talented singer Amy Winehouse has been found dead.
So.
Let's enjoy what we do, make each other happy and live life to the full.
