Deer

Spent the night at my folks house near Inverness then headed for Fife, a day late but at least we got there.

As we travelled through Drumochter Pass we glimpsed a herd of red deer through the snow. Not far from the road but still very slight shadowy shapes, gone almost as soon as we saw them.
