Common Lizard, Bury Ditches, Shropshire

Broke from my usual Android Blip today and used one of my "proper cameras" to take this.
Not the best photo I have ever taken but as far as I can remember this is the first lizard I have seen "live" in the UK so I deemed it suitably noteworthy to ignore the blades of grass and give him his moment of glory. It was I have to confess the last creature I was expecting to see high in the South Shropshire hills
