Minnessten

This is a picture of a memorial stone. It was placed on a hill in a suburb of Malmö. It was put there in memory of some dark periods in the areas history. Between the years 1543-1663 it was a place where witches were burned. Then it was a place where poor soldiers were buried between 1809-1870, then between the years of 1827-1891 it was used as a burial ground for prisoners. Its a large enough hill surrounded by residential apartments.
