It's Hama Time!

Our children love playing with Hama beads. Such a simple concept but so much fun. They even made some of their own teachers' gifts with them - each one an individual peice of original artwork.

This was the scene prior to the inevitable spreading of Hama beads on the kitchen floor. Unfortunately, today the beads were in one of our lovely pudding bowls in the photo above and it didn't bounce.

Not a particularly nice day in these here parts, although I know my friends in Scotland have had it much better today. We were going to have a BBQ but decided not to bother as the forecast was for rain and it looked as though it would (although I don't think it did in the end).
