Hanging On

It was another hot one today and I didn't stray too far from the house. I went out to the front yard after lunch to see what could be photographed. This is the result. I liked the way the dandelion fluff was clinging to the coneflower. If you look close you can even see some pollen clinging to the fluff. I guess you could say they are attracted to each other.

We did have a record high yesterday of 104 degrees F. That was only one degree less than the all time record high of 105 set back on July 3, 1966.
