Double

The seagull flew to the mirror almost like he/she knew it was there and had stood transfixed by the seagull image on other days. I was certainly transfixed watching the bird examine and peck at the bird in the mirror. My neighbor put this mirror up to disguise the out of code alcove he built, we think to confuse the humans - did he change something or not? (Sight lines and heights are carefully monitored in the houseboat world).

Anyway, the seagull is entranced and none of the humans were ever fooled!
