New York baby!!

Had a full day in new York today and after what is becoming the normal 4 hours sleep me and badger heading to see the sights!

We headed on a guide tour towards the statue of liberty finding out some amazing facts like: one of the Levi Strauss brothers died in the titanic and it is their company that now own Macy's! Fun fact I know!

After I bought the most amazing sweets for a bargain price of $10 we headed out to the statue of liberty, and it is extremely impressive I must admit! We then went to ground zero which seemed very emotionless which surprised me, the new construction is moving along very quickly and the memorial planned
looks impressive, 10 year anniversary this year which seems crazy!

We then went via times square and 5th avenue and ended up in central park, and we watched an interesting game of soft ball, badger kept cheering and embarrassing herself which was silly but a quality day in an amazing city! One last night with Rachael, becci and polly now, before an emotional goodbye and then Niagara falls tomorrow! Av fun xx
