Unprepared

Today's blip is a prime example of not thinking clearly. It had been a long day of travel from Long Beach to Vacaville, CA and we were quite tired. The last time we had visited Vacaville all the restaurants seemed to close early, so we were in a hurry to get some dinner before our choices dwindled drastically. We hustled our of the hotel, but I only took my point and shoot with me. Well, we found a good restaurant, Tahoe Joes, that had a really cool neon sign, part of which is shown here, but I had left the camera that could have done justice to the sign back in the hotel room. I did what I could with the subject, but realized that I should always carry the right tools with me even when overcome by hunger.
