Day of the triffids

This is our friendly triffid plant, a black sambuca that grows over 6 ft every year.

A lovely family day, after a slightly troubled start, the children have been laughing and playing quite well this afternoon. Plus I've managed to fit in some knitting and baking. Time to sit back and enjoy the spoils.
