BACK TO 1918

This Airco DH.2 was a single-seat biplane "pusher" aircraft which operated as a fighter during the First World War.

Although being rebuilt it is the only airworthy example flying in the UK, which makes it extremely rare.

Operating from my local airstrip, in East Lothian for the National Museum of Flight airshow over the weekend, today she set of on her 4 hour trip back to Lincolnshire!!!

I took this image in almost idealistic airfield settings. Not a bit of the mordern era to be seen in this shot!!!
