The amazing underwater baby

We were treated to a brill day out at Chester Zoo this sunny day :) It was fantastic seeing all the animals; though it is sad to think they are out of their natural environment, it is even more sad to think they are so endangered. I was really impressed with the conservation and breeding programmes in place, however, and the education for little ones is superb. Hubby took some fab photos of the tigers, elephants, giraffes...and this wonderful one of a lion.

However, the most amazing animal I spotted today was this underwater baby, which shared its abode with the penguins. Its latin name, apparently, is 'graceicus aquaticus'.
