The deserted funfair

Chris fancied a trip to the sea
so we set off to Southsea in bright sunshine,
by the time we got there it was pouring with rain.
We sat in the car and ate ice creams and then the rain stopped.
We walked along the beach to the pier and came across this deserted funfair.
It looked very sad and unkept complete with spelling mistakes.
I imagine that when summer comes it will look very different.
