Lodge Street
Had a photo free day for some reason so chose a trip out to return the electric screwdriver to my brother in law (project complete) as an excuse for some blip hunting.
A lovely evening so I drove down this cobbled road towards Colston Hall. It's a pretty steep hill but has a definite feel of old Bristol about it.
A few shots of the copper clad (metal not the professional upholders of the law) Colston Hall extension against the blue sky but they were a bit bland so a road shot it was.
I imagine that a lot of Bristol's streets have cobbles below the modern road surface. Here? Just cobbles. They look great and I'm sure they would act as a road calming measure. Imagine laying them all in the first place?!
Son #1's journal is progressing well. Yesterday produced a shot of his new haircut and today a shot of him eating fish and chips at Ikea. It gave me a chance to eat Meatballs and cranberry sauce! Gorgeous...
