Leuven beachvolleybal 2011

We had our harts set on canoeing today, but the temperatures really didn't convince us (14 or 15 C this morning). We decided to go to Leuven, a city we had never visited before. Arriving at the parking under the Ladeuzeplein we found ourselves in the middle of the Leuven beach volleybal event. They had created a beach on the square with 4 volleyball courts.

We watched some amazing games (some were very close) and then warmed up in the M (museum of Leuven). They even had a treasure hunt set out for kids, so the girls loved it very much. Later we returned to watch the finals of the volleyball. This shot is from the Ladies final.
