The Calm before the Storm

The British Council Cairo employs around 60 teachers and so this teachers' room is usually pretty hectic, believe me! My co-trainer and I get in early in the morning and have the satisfaction of a bit of peace and quiet before most people arrive. Everyone 'hot desks' it, but we always plonk ourselves and our stuff down at this end of the room. The pink folder and water marks my desk.
