6 p.m. Regents Canal, Close To Hackney, London.

Early evening and strolling along the canal. During the week this is a lovely quiet walk, except for the ringing of bells from the constant stream of bicycles that come past. Sadly, at the weekend it like an aquatic version of Nathan Barley

I did take enjoyment in telling a slightly bemused looking French hipster who was jogging along the canal (picture that) of it's former use. He smiled and thanked me, now knowing he could now fully explain the former use of the structures that he passed everyday. I am here to help.
