Country living at its best!

Living in the woods means that we have seen many things we never would have seen while living in the city. One of my favorites is fawns. I have "happened upon" little ones in the woods a few times while gathering kindling in the spring for the woodstove.

It was actually the sightings of fawns that sparked me to get a little point and shoot camera so I would never miss another of these moments again! I carry a camera on me all the time....even when walking down to the mailbox. One just never knows...tiny point and shoot, or heavy D-SLR, I try to always be prepared! After all, a picture IS worth a thousand words!
