Peacock caterpillar

It was a lovely spring day today - in sheltered locations I found some lovely butterflies - such as this Peacock caterpillar (Inachis io), which was posing rather nicely on the Puschkinia plant.

I also saw Brimstone (Gonepteryx rhamni) and Small Tortoiseshell (Aglais urticae).
