Determination

We've been given and old slide an it's a new experience for Ben. The first time I had to show him how to climb the ladder, get his legs over and let go, but after that there was no stopping him.
It's a bit heart stopping to see him wobbling away up that high. Every time he slides down he leans to one side and hangs over the edge and he closes his eyes before he hits the bottom. There's a bit of a drop off the end to ground level. Might have to come up with something to pad the gap.
So he spent the morning going up and down with me hovering ready to catch him. I was only able to get him inside for his nap because the doorbell rang and he wanted to see who it was.
