Time.

There just isn't enough of the above at the moment. The day started with me taking GP to have his hair cut. It was bothering him because it had grown so long. Whilst he was at the Barber's I rushed up to the Bank to see to some business, went back to pick him up and we came home for lunch. Drove to the Hospital ( which is 12 miles away) for GP's first Radiotherapy treatment. After a long consultation with the Radiotherapist, who explained the procedure very well,GP went in. He wasn't long. From there we had a very lucrative chat with a Specialist Nurse, called Cathy, who was absolutely lovely. She wanted to arrange an easier way to get medication as the Morphine was running short. It looks like we're going to be assigned a Macmillan Nurse, which will be brilliant.
The only time that I get really emotional is when all these people are being so kind! We've always been very independent people, and, all of a sudden, there is a support network who can't do enough to help us. I find this absolutely awesome.
It's been a manic day - probably the first of many!!

Anyway - back to Blip!! As I journeyed through the maze of corridors from the Cancer Unit to the Pharmacy I passed this garden and another under construction. What a lovely oasis of calm in an otherwise busy environment. If you have to be reliant on a Hospital, surely this is one to visit. I can't speak highly enough of the attention we've received so far.

Sorry about the quality of the shot, but I took it through the window!
