The Bee's Knees

Well ok, you can't quite see the knees!

Just a snap with my little Canon Ixus whilst going for a wander by the Forth at lunchtime.I'm sure someone can fill me in on what type of flower it is!

I did notice alot of swallows darting around. Soon found out why.
There are a fair few nesting under the roof edge of a local hotel. Lots of chicks which
mum and dad were feeding. I say this authoritatively when in fact a) I have no idea if they were swallows and b) whether mum and dad both feed the young!
May have to go back with my DSLR and longer lens.
