A moment in Southwark

Boarded up pubs, shops and restaurants are becoming a familiar sight around London. This unsalubrious street is just around the corner from Tate Modern and Borough Market, but may as well be in the further reaches of the East End.

I stopped here briefly on the way back from The London College of Communication where I was dropping off 4 submissions for the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Competition.
