Huly Hill Sanding Stones

Went out to Newbridge to the Big Discount store, hoping to get another camera case like the one I lost a while back (which had an internal, not external, pocket). Lots of stuff but not a single camera case to be had.

Right opposite is the tumulus and standing stones of Huly Hill which I have not visited before, details on this link. There are three stones, set well apart and difficult to see in one photo so this shows the Southern and, if you look in large, the Northwestern ones which are larger than the third, to the East.

While we were there the grass was being mown and I took a photo of the man mowing the tumulus, (as a contrast of ancient and modern) but he declined to allow me to keep it.

Continued to Livingston (via coffee stop in the sunshine at Dobbies) to buy a case at Jessops - not perfect but spare battery won't fall out now.
