Bonny heilan' heather

I climbed the hill behind the croft this morning before everyone else got up. I reached the trig point after 40 minutes then went another half hour along the hill summits before starting to head down. My knees were sore by the time I was half way down and it took me ages to get down the last easy bit as they started to seize up! So by 10:30 as everyone got up, I'd had my fill of exercise for the day but they didn't see it like that.

The purple heather covered the whole of the hill.
