Boo!

So, today was Mrs BH's big birthday party. The house and garden were filled with friends and family, smiles and hugs, good music and good food. It all went according to plan, which was great, and Mrs BH had a brilliant time, which was the most important thing.

She said it was the best party she'd ever been too. :o) In fact, this is a direct quote:

"the party organiser equivalent of Miss Moneypenny who planned and executed the party with the secrecy normally associated with MI5. An army of unpaid and cheery construction and catering crew, a guest list of the highest quality featuring much loved friends and family. a perfect double bill of musicians (thank you Kieran Collingwood and Boo Hewerdine), a perfect summer's day, with home-made bunting to top it off. In the words of whoever it was, 'I've had the time of my life'. Anyone for a recovery party?"

This was the rather splendid Boo Hewerdine performing rather splendidly on our patio.
