Moo-nicipal artwork

Since I first saw painted traffic signal boxes in Brisbane I've thought they were a great idea. Putting community sourced art on these normally drab boxes brightens up the place, reduces vandalism and gives places a sense of identify. I was delighted to spot a painted signal box in Inverurie today. It's painted on all sides with a suitably rural theme (and a cheeky surprise on the top) and I think it is a real beauty. Hope we see more in Aberdeenshire and perhaps even in the city too.
