Love at short sight

I was musing around the place (probably trying to locate a spot where the chance of being dragged into loading the dishwasher would be less likely) when I spotted Mrs Raheny giving Finnzy-Bob the look.
And yet the same Finnzy-Bob was driving her insane no longer than 3 days ago. Or was it this morning? Or 12 minutes ago?
It was actually all three.
Yet Mrs Raheny seems to have an extraordinary capacity for forgiveness.
How shortsighted of her.

I have been implementing a very strict rule of withdrawal of the Look of Love for all crimes and misdemeanours. From one week for a refusal to finish the content of one's plate to 6 months for a tantrum in public (a full year if it happens outside the school gates, within sight of other parents who have no control issues whatsoever with their kids, the smug bastards)
One is never too young to learn about rancor, I reckon.
According to their individual tabs, Luca cannot expect any paternal Look of Love until he is 53, Mimi 28 and Finnzy-Bob 19.
