A Buskers View

Today has been a fab day, I've spent it trying to improve my photography skills with Keith Moss from Keith Moss Photography.

We headed out to Whitby for the day and concentrated on trying to get things correct in the camera rather than relying on post production, learning to look at the world differently and also trying to build a little confidence with street photography.

I've always been very shy and self conscious with a camera but with a little encouragement from Keith I approached this busker and asked him if I could sit with him and take a few photo's whilst he sang. My thought was I might be able to get a picture from his view of the world looking up at those around him, and even though his hat is cut off in this shot I think it conveys a little emotion in his face as he sings.

I took quite a few other shots of beautiful picturesque landscapes and also people that I think are better composition wise than this one, but I was so happy that I'd actually built up the courage to be so open about taking a picture of someone for the first time that I thought this one deserved to be my blip for the day.

P.S. - owe lots of back blips, need to sort them out!!
