Real, real shame about Amy Winehouse. I remember seeing her on telly about 8 or 9 years ago. There was some annoying bint on the show (Dido or similar) getting all the attention and I was wondering why the blinkered media weren't taking any notice of Winehouse back then: Someone with proper talent.
Then she got into drink and drugs - and the media loved her.
