Flying geese

The geese were all flying up and down the river, don't know why, they'd just suddenly take off and fly a few hundred metres and then land.

Maybe they didn't like the snow and had cold feet, so had to keep to the water (although that must have been mighty cold too.)

Beautiful blue sky day and very bright with the sun shining on the snow. Not much thawing going on though, and the roads are treacherous. And people aren't thinking about red lights or pedestrian crossings if my observations of the traffic this morning are anything to go by.
