Waxeye

This waxeye and his mates were scoffing down the remains of some stewed pears to ward off the bitterly cold wind. There were so many waxeyes flitting about the tree and the cat slept on oblivious to the opportunities just out the window. Took 100 pics and narrowed them down to about thirty, which will be narrowed a bit further for the keepers.
