Back on the road

Yep thats me back on the road again this time to Arran just across the water from me. It normally rains every time I have to go there but today looks promising. The ferry crossing is merceyfully short only 40mins and calm thank God. I plootered along and took a few evening shots and just decided on this one of Lamlash Bay looking over to Holy Island which I must go to sometime.
I am stuck here for a week so hope the weather continues. Will be busy between music and the usual applications with the only downside being the limited internet access on this Godforsaken place! the school is located in what can only be described in Gaelic as a slochd a hole so no signal there. Really wish BT would stop faffing around and just get it together with decent internet and the phone companies with decent mobile access. Grrrr its amazing how reliant we have become on this technology and how far removed we are from the old Olivetti typewriter I learned on!

Stopped off for food and typically rubbish fayre as usual. The hostility trade in this country really need to up its game.
Am also trying to plan a holiday to Lisbon Portugal and now we have to do it all orselves by trawling the bloody internet!! see it has its downside too, I would much prefer to go to a travel agent and say look I want to go to Lisbon for 7 days, just do it!

If anyone has any suggestions I would be glad to hear them. Don't know whether to go for B&B in a hotel, or get a wee apartment. Just know when I want to go, where I want to go and to see Fatime and Sintra as well so any hints would be gratefully accepted.
