Buying Bread

This week has seen the arrival in Portree of the european market traders. Yes, they even come as far as this! In the photograph we see a lady discussing the merits of the variety of different breads.

For a photographer like myself the problem is that in the bright sunlight there are immense shadows beneath the awnings. I didn't want to draw attetion to myself by using flash and so I have used a variety of other methods to throw light into the shadows. These included systems on the camera and systems within photoshop.

I sincerely hope I have not over done the brightening.
